Ramtek-Nagpur trip, Part1: Reaching Ramtek
Date: 14th night to 18th Aug 2013
Today, I am going to narrate a very
interesting fable (sachi ghatnao pe aadharit ). Hope you all will enjoy

Background(from my eye)::
As there were holidays on 15th of
August and 17-18(weekend) so one needs to take a leave on 16th to convert it
into a looong weekend. For me it was already planed as we (my team) worked on
3rd of August in lieu of 16th. Mayank was also ready to take leave. We were
wondering since starting of August where to go in these holidays but we were
not able to decide anything.
Random Plan::
One day Mayank came to me and asked
that we can go to Ramtek(Maharastra) for darshan of shri 108 sant shiromani
'Vidya sagar ji' maharaj. I said yes as until that point of time I never had a
luck to visit for darshan of Acharya shri. After that I only knew that I am
going to visit Ramtek with Mayank. Mayank as usual took the charge and checked
with everyone and at last we knew that Neha, Mayank, Ajay and Nitin are going
to Ramtek, in addition to this Mohini was going upto Nagpur on the same date in
the same train.
Reaching Station and getting
tickets::
Trip starts with fun/adventure
starts. We were having only two confirmed tickets that were in name of Mohini
and Nishikant(Mayank was supposed to be Nisikant in train as Nishikant's prog
got cancelled). So we decided to take general tickets for remaining 3.
Neha informed that she will reach
directly. So we booked cab from BTM to Yeshvantpur railway station. Mohini has
to reach to BTM and then cab was supposed take to route of MG road(so that i
can join) to reach station.
But destiny decided something else
though. Mayank got late from office and then same happened with Cab, also it
started raining heavily (adchan aati hai kabhi kabhi achhe kaam mein bhi). So
cab started after 7:30 pm instead of 7:00 pm. And roads were full of traffic so
it seems to be difficult to reach station on time by following MG road route.
So Mayank called me and asked me to reach station directly.
Now people were coming from three
different directions or places i,e Neha,me and rest. First member to reach
station will arrange the tickets. We three teams were in touch(by mobile
calls) while reaching station. Best thing was nobody knew that where they are
i.e they only knew that they are on the way to station. Finally Mayank and
team reached station first and got the tickets,
Mean while this is how i reached:
By chance/luck one of my collegue
was going the same way and he dropped(after taking all the short cuts without
traffic luckily) me some where between cantonement railway station and Mekri
circle. After waiting 20 mins for auto I took lift upto Makri circle
and then auto to reach station.
Tension and suspense @ Station
The suspense:
When I reached station I came to
know that one more person got added. I thought some KTJH member for trip but it
was Abhishek our roommate (was going to his home, unfotunately missed Rajdhani). So
now we were 6 people with only 2 tickets :D.
Tension(Neha ki to train miss hui
thi):
We all reached station except Neha
and it was only 10 mins in trains departure, Mayank and Nitin were in mood of
chain pulling to make the train wait for Neha :P. But guess what some how Neha
was able to make it within time i.e she arrived 5 mins before train departure
time also train got delayed by 20 mins :D :D.
Train Journey (6 ppl with 2
tickets):: Never to forget
I won't be able to describe it in
one heading lets break it.
Learning for me:
Here was a change in my perspective
of looking at one thing i.e the people travelling without confirm ticket.
Frankly before this I never ever travelled without ticket(rather say proper
ticket) and whenever I went by sleeper I use to see people travelling without
ticket and thought why do they travel if they don't have ticket. But that day I
was one of them and I realised how things are important for one to reach
somewhere somehow on time even without comfort.
Adjustment Night:
We tried to get a seat by talking to
TT(kuch de le ke karde bhai), but we didn't had a luck as many people were
travelling like us(after all loong weekend sabke liye hai). We are already
prepared for this as we kept mat, so we managed 4 peoples on 2 seats and other
two(Mayank and Nitin) on mat.
Fun @ train:
The next day we got a free
campartment(6 seats) somehow and we aquired it(mauke pe chouka :D). Then fun
starts we all were teasing Abhishek on missing Rajdhani in some or other way.
Even people started recognizing Abhishek and were asking are you the one who
missed the Rajdhani.
Nagpur station( Abhinandan ki
kahani, Lavish's new look and Mohit's panic situation):
It was time to meet Abhinandan,
Lavish and Mohit. Oh my god what happend to Lavish he is bald (kya
kab kaise :O). Lavish said kya new look hai bhai. We were like hawwwww. But
then ok aise bhi sahi lag raha tha ;-)
Mohit was in full tension (look in
the pic) he was getting messages like Rs 10000 deducted from your account... Rs
5000 deducted (koi bhi darr jayega yaar).... What to do we suggested him to
block his card but he didn't remember his account number but luckily remembered
user id and password for netbanking. Then we called KTJH members who could
have access to internet and finally we got Nishikant with net access he
verified no money got deducted(Kaleje wich thandak pey gayi). All happy and
then Mohit's conclude that this is not is account somebody wrongly gave his
number. Happy ending to this story ;-)
Advanture abhi bakki hai dost:
Today on remembering back I find
adventure in each bit of trip. As by this time we were in Nagpur which means
only 50-60 kms away from our destination. We had dinner(before sunset or
nearly :P) @ some restaurant at station. Mayank and I went out to arrange a
cab..... again one more 'Archan' no cab was available or I should correct my
sentence i.e no cab available in budget, for 50-60km they were asking Rs
2500(koi tuk hai yaar ah..).
We were searching- searching
finally we reached some market there we say a line of tempos.. You are right
then we went to Ramtek in a tempo :D ..... new adventure new type of
masti....this can only happen with KTJH
